Domain Administrator Instructions
These instructions are only for users who have been granted Domain Administrator permissions.
The admin url is: https://mail.dbmonkey.com:32001/admin
Same as for webmail, ignore the security alert for now and just click "Yes" to proceed.
Use your full email address (username@yourdomain.com) as the login name.
To create a new email account, click on the "New user" link. A popup window will appear. In the username field, enter the full email address. In the Alias field, just enter the first part not including the @domain.com.
Multiple aliases are separated by semicolons.
Here's an example:
Alias: support;help;info
Username: support@yourdomain.com
The username is used for logging in via webmail or POP3, whereas the alias represents email addresses such as support@yourdomain.com, help@yourdomain.com, info@yourdomain.com, etc.
In most cases each account will have only one alias, in which case you don't need a semicolon.
Don't forget to enter the password twice (second time in the Confirm field). If you want the user to enter the own password, just put something temporary in like foo, changeme,
etc, as long as you let them know what you set it to so they can log in to the webmail.
Full name, Comment, and Forward to can be left blank.
In most cases you can skip the other tabs and just click OK to complete the new account.
