Semi-Finals: Will be held on Sat. August 3rd
Finals: Will be held on Sat. August 10th

Yür Daddy was founded by Yarley Nystrom and Julian Munske in early 2009. Cheap whiskey and endless pints fueled the creative process until the music could no longer be harnessed by just two musicians. After creating a strong core of original music, Yür Daddy added bass guitar master Sky Stewart and local drum legend Rydell Dorton to hold down the rhythm.

Demure started between Dan Downs and Jack Jackman to mix pop rock sound with a bit of an edge. Brian Mac came into the band and has added the groove. Ryan Johnson came in and brought his percussion expertise.
Kings and Vagabonds, not just another hipster music experience, though we are based in Portland. We will Rock your SKAcks off with our FunkyPunk riffs, smooth Groovin' jams, and raw power in the form of shreds. Also the bassist has Metal in his legs.
When you combine face melting rock with catchy pop hooks and punk riffs you get Give It FM. Conceived in 2012 in the hellish depths of a SW Portland basement, we have emerged victorious after slaying the demons who sought to keep our rock in a cage.

First of all, we like to collect forks.
Crooked Toad formed in early 2011 as a two piece gritty blues band consisting of Rusty on the drums and Tommy on the guitar. For the past year we have been writing and recording tracks for our debut release as well as thrilling audiences all around the Portland bar scene. Callon Henick has joined us on the bass and rehearsals have been progressing swimmingly. We will beginning work on our first full length release in April. Keep it Greasy! -Crooked Toad

This party is 21+, only, of course. Our usual zero tolerance policy for jerks, fighters, and spoilsports, will be firmly in place. Take a cab, or catch Tri-Met bus #12 to the front door. Oh, and, take Monday off, now - you'll need it.

Hailing from an eclectic musical background, Tokyo Death Stare formed in 2011 when guitarist Ryan Evans wrote a lonely guitar riff and begged Eric Oberste to put some drums to it. Noisy girl Mel O. joined in on the jam session. A first song was written. Lucus Barr joined soon after, adding a second layer of guitar. In 2013 Hazel Whitaker joined, bringing the perfect bass backbone to the band.
42 Ford Prefect: "Wow, by my reckoning, this is the first time I've run into glow-in-the-dark vinyl. The band member trading cards were also a nice touch. Musically, this bounces between Northern California vats punk and Midwestern hardcore with, as Donny Osmond would say, "a little bit rock'n'roll" veined through thrashy beats, brittle guitars, and raw production. They seem to be enjoying themselves and it comes across on wax. "

Die Sektor was founded by Scott Denman and Daniel Gant in 2004 as an outlet for experimenting with dark aggressive electronic music. With the addition of Alan Smith in 2005, Die Sektor released their first album 'To Be Fed Upon' on the harsh industrial label Noittek in 2006. After several week of topping the DAC and a handful of shows in the U.S. and Mexico, Die Sektor went on a long hiatus while Scott starting putting together material that would advance and not copy dark electronic music. In 2010 Edwin Alter joined Die Sektor and the album genre bending album 'Applied Structure In A Void' was written and conceived. Upon the release of 'ASIAV' in 2011 Die Sektor divided audiences and critics. For many fans in the genre of Industrial 'ASIAV' raised the bar as far as the quality and songwriting that could be done with dark electro industrial music.
After several shows across the US Die Sektor began to gain a reputation for intense, exciting and powerful live performances. In 2012 Die Sektor released the follow up to 'ASIAV' with the extremely emotional and dark album 'The Final Electro Solution'. With 'TFES' Die Sektor continued to raise the bar for the industrial genre and a specific and unique sound that is Die Sektor, began to emerge. Die Sektor set out on a US tour to support the album, gaining fans and raising the craft of electro shows to new levels. Through 2011 and 2012 Die Sektor remixed bands on almost every industrial label and of every industrial style across the globe. Die Sektor has built a strong reputation as one of the top remix producers in the genre.
2013 finds Die Sektor putting the final touches on a new studio album titled '(-) existence '. The new album has been touted as the final chapter in 'The Void Trilogy' made up of 'ASIAV' and 'TFES'. Die Sektor is preparing to unleash '(-) existence, claiming it to be their most accessible, experimental, darkest, emotional and complex work yet. (-) existence is a true concept album that follows the protagonist down a path of internal division and self destruction.
Coma Music Magazine wrote, "I think Frontal Boundary has tons of potential and I have high hopes for their first full-length album." Brutal Resonance, an online web portal for EMB/Industrial music published a promising critique of Frontal Boundary on their website, "For being his only album release, I can see a lot of potential in this artist. Along with the video for Mental Illusion, I am sure this won't be the last we hear of from BrendinR (Frontal Boundary), and he is sure to start getting attention and gaining devoted fans. I can only see his next albums getting better and better."
